WESTERN FUSIONWED 1/17 - THURS 1/18 @ 9PM
Western Fusion was formed in the late 90’s by band leader Brian Childress. Brian’s goals were to have a band that sounded like radio and be composed of some of the best musicians Arizona has to offer.. In the beginning Western Fusion was a traditional country band. As the band evolved with musicians, so did the music. Today the standard five piece band still plays country including George Strait, Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, Keith Urban, Sam Hunt and now has recently evolved with hits from the 70’s, 80’s and today’s rock including a mix from MAGIC!, Sublime, Bruno Mars, Billy Idol, Def Leppard, and KC and the Sunshine Band. The band has opened for National Acts such as: Blake Shelton with Mark Wills and Charlie Daniels.

What’s more Country than Rock, but with an edge? – Nashville Duo CJ Simmons – aka Christian and Jessica Simmons. They mix high voltage Country with Rock and good ole Classic Country. Their high energy live shows are crowd pleasing down home style with a hip blend of musical artistry that has branded and rewarded them with a growing fan base nationally. Touring and picking up fans one by one and show by show CJ Simmons has one goal in mind, making the best possible music and have a good time doing it! Oklahoma born Christian and Texas born Jessica met in Los Angeles while beginning their careers. He was acting in various commercials and television shows. She was working in the fashion industry while signed to a California Indie record label. Their love story and musical journey blossomed into a successful partnership and musical following that has produced two successful self- released albums in addition to composing and placing several songs into network TV shows, most notably the theme song for the Daytime Emmy Awards, and most recently one of their songs was featured in an episode of the CW Network hit show “Hart Of Dixie.”

SMITH is a six-piece pop country music group located in Southern California that performs hits from artists such as Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert to Luke Bryan and Florida Georgia Line. Mix that with country classics and you have the recipe for party. Comprised of seasoned musicians that have worked with Albert Lee, Kenny Loggins, Keith Emerson, Glenn Hughes and many others, SMITH can rock your favorite country as well as top 40 hits. From Lady Antebellum to Lady Gaga, SMITH will deliver a legit, high-energy show that appeals to a wide variety of audiences. Recently, the band was chosen by ABC & Disney executives to perform the original soundtrack from ABC’s Hit Series “Nashville” to thousands of Disneyland visitors as a promotional campaign for its season four episodes. From the Nightclub to the Country Club, SMITH will rock the house and rule the dance floor.

Scotty Alexander is a Nashville based country artist / singer, songwriter, guitar and fiddle slinger that plays multiple other instruments. His debut EP is soon to be released on iTunes, produced by Brian Willis who has produced Brad Paisley, Josh Turner and many others. Scotty has toured with and or opened for Neal McCoy, Bryan White, Wayne Newton, Big and Rich, Lucy Hale, George Strait, Jessica Simpson, Restless Heart, and Cole Swindell. As a song writer Scotty has had cuts with Bryan White, Point Of Grace, Corey Cox, and jingles placed with Old Navy, Wrangler, Nissan, Honda and Ford. As a musical producer he has produced segments for the 2007 NBA All Star Game, CSI Las Vegas, The View, David Letterman, The Tonight Show starring Jay Leno and Oprah. Scotty has done 13 overseas tours with the U.S.O. performing for the men and woman in the armed forces and is currently touring with his band from San Diego and Vegas to locally in Nashville promoting his upcoming single “You Make Pretty Look Easy." Along with performing and touring with his own band Scotty worked in 2014 as musical director for the star of ABC's “Pretty Little Liars,” Lucy Hale. Together they made TV appearances on "Good Morning America", "Kelly and Michael", "So You Think You Can Dance" and “Ellen."

Rob Staley is a talented young Country Music artist living in Los Angeles, California. Since relocating from his small hometown of Plattsburgh, in rural upstate New York, Rob is quickly becoming a part of the fabric of the So-Cal country music scene. Rob, the 26 year old country singer/guitarist, has not only talent and ability, but a genuine love and respect for “Real Country Music”… the kind performed by the great country legends, both past and present. Although he won’t boast to the face, Rob Staley is “Real Country”, you could say, “The Real Deal”… but he will readily tell you that he is proud to be a country singer and proud to be apart of the great American tradition of country and Western Music.
VANESSA LEGRANDWED 2/28 @ 9PM
Vanessa is a classically trained singer that has had the opportunity to be part of the Augusta Children's Choir, the Pittsburgh Children's Choir, and has had vocal training at The Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins. During her time with the Pittsburgh Children's Choir she was blessed in getting to work with the Pittsburgh Symphony and sing under the direction of Marvin Hamlisch. After taking a break from music for almost 8 years, Vanessa took the Charlotte music scene by storm playing in acoustic duos and bands all over town. Having conquered Charlotte, she set her sights on Las Vegas hoping to get the opportunity to work with seasoned and professional musicians. After landing in Vegas, she immediately scored a gig as the female vocalist in a Jazz quintet performing at the Palazzo hotel. Since her first gig at the Palazzo Vanessa has performed all over the Las Vegas Strip singing all genres from pop to jazz, to country and rock. She has performed on Fremont Street, Toby Keith's, The M Resort, Bootlegger, among many others in and out of Las Vegas. She is currently working on her first original album consisting of country / rock music.
Gilley's Dance Hall will generally be open from dusk (6pm - 8pm) to dawn (2am - 4am) with a live DJ whenever there isn't a live band on stage. Whether it's the latest Texas two-step, line dancing, country waltz or any flat-footed glide that works well in cowboy boots, Gilley's has the ideal music and dance hall to accommodate all comers.
Regular folk will enjoy the nightclub scene as the live DJ spins tunes from rock to blues, modern and traditional country, and even a little hip hop club music when there aren't too many cowboy hats in the saloon.

Every Tuesday at 8pm, or earlier if the mood strikes us right, the Dance Hall stage will feature the best (and funniest) voices of our Saloon customers wishing to grab the microphone and belt out a tune.
